The GPD is a comprehensive and easy-to-use repository of high-quality research on policing. The database includes over 7,000 studies dating back to 1950 and is updated to include the most current research on any topic related to police work. The goal of the GPD is to facilitate quick access to the most rigorous scientific research conducted on policing, for practitioners and academics using a simple web-based platform.
EPPS will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, March 31 from 12:30-1:30 featuring Dr. Cory Schnell to discuss the database in more detail and how it can be used in support of building out your existing evidence-base. We hope that you’ll join this event to learn more about the GPD and how it can be used in support of the research goals of your department/agency. Register for the webinar here: Microsoft Virtual Events Powered by Teams. This event will be recorded and shared with all registered participants upon conclusion.
